Career Progression


Once you become a Mountain States Health Alliance Team Member, we want to make sure you want to stay. That doesn’t mean you have to work at the same job for your entire career. People grow and change; being in a new environment can lead to new interests, which can inspire you to move your career in a different direction. There are several possibilities for advancement, including:

MSHA University

Nurses with BabyMSHA University provides courses for all learning styles and settings, taught by experts in the content area. Some learning opportunities are single courses; others are part of a set of courses that build skill and knowledge in a particular area. All the course offerings support our ability to accomplish Mountain States' goals within our Pillars of Excellence.

Career Ladders

Many departments inside Mountain States have developed career ladders that provide monetary and entitled advancements for those who obtain further education and training. The career ladders are established to encourage all Team Members to be their best, with the philosophy that better training provides better care.
